I’m not here to flood your brain with the same old clichés. Nope, I’m here to sprinkle some fun, a dash of reality, and a whole lot of ‘let’s make things happen’ into your day. So, buckle up and get ready for a ride that’s as exciting as finding an extra slice of pizza when you thought the box was empty!
There’s a few things I want you to hear (well, read) as we start this journey.
I’m a recovering addict/alcoholic, homeschooling stay-at-home mom that can’t cook very well and I am super neurodivergent and overly passionate with low patience (mostly with tech and waiting, but never with my kids, well… almost never 🤭). If I can create and sustain an online business, so can you.
YOU CAN DO IT
I won’t lie to you and say it’s easy peasy all the time, it’s not. Most days Teck Heck has me this close 🤏 to screaming into a pillow! But it’s always figureoutable. <~~~ that may or may not be a word 😆
The point is, this year I want to help you put money into your bank account. That’s my main focus, because there’s enough room on these internet streets for all of us.
I can hear you asking “But how do I get started?!” YouTube and Google will be your new best friends. You’re gonna be so close that you’ll give them nicknames like The Googs and Tubie, okay maybe that’s just me? 🙈
Here’s what I did when I didn’t know what I didn’t know:
- Get a professional email address. This is uber important when you start sending emails. For example mine is melissa@plrcookiejar.com to do this head over to Google Workspace and select which plan works best for you. They do offer a 14 day free trial then it’s only $6 a month. You’ll need this biz email for the next step.
- Get a free Convertkit account. (affiliate link) This gives you the ability to collect email addresses and create landing pages which are just mini websites. You also get access to Convertkit Commerce which makes it easy to sell your products. Plus a bunch more cool features and it’s all FOR FREE!
- Set up a BUSINESS PayPal & Stripe account. You will connect your shiny new Convertkit account to them. Pop over to the Googs if you need a tutorial for how to do that.
- If you haven’t already got it, Head over to the PLR Cookie Jar Freebie and get 2 planners that come with Master Resell Rights so you can repurpose and resell them as your own.

You just set up, and started your business and have 2 products ready to sell, in one day, okay maybe 2 days, I told you it was figureoutable. And you did it all for only $6 if you chose the business starter plan for your domain email in step 1!
It’s all about the KISS 💋, no not that kiss! You know, Keep It Simple Silly. Did you think I was gonna call you stupid?! Heck no! You just created your own online biz, you’re a whole bunch of steps ahead of most. That ain’t stupid!
And remember, the journey doesn’t stop here. Keep exploring, learning, and adapting. The internet is your oyster, and there are countless resources and opportunities out there. Don’t be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you.
